Dreams
I have a sudden craving for fluffy skirts lots of fluffy skirts.
My friend was telling me about her dream. So I wrote my inspiration from it.
I woke up and found myself in a place I didn’t recognize, I wandered for miles on end but it was like a ghost town. I went to the suburbs, I passed by cute little contemporary apartments and sat for a while in the local park. While there I discovered a book on the bench near a light pole, and I flipped through pages and pages of ‘extinct animals’ inside of it until I got bored. I the houses near by I could her some of the water faucets were still running, re-runs on TV, and nobody was here. I felt a small cold tear run down my cheek, my worst fear had come true. I was the only girl in the world, I didn’t know that actually, so I guess I was the only girl in this particular area. Great. Last person on earth and I get stuck with myself. I drifted off to sleep again(I’m slightly narcoleptic.) and when I woke up, it smelled delicious, then I found out why. There were daises, lots of them. I danced in the vast field of pale pink daisies for a bit, while wearing a sheer white gown. After that I thought a lot about how I’d be able to stay sane. I came across a vial of magic, a tall, stern genie appeared and I made 3 wishes. The first wish was for Prince Charming. When he arrived he made fun of me for wishing him here, so I lightly slapped him. Then he went off in the distance to fix his watch. The second wish was for a puppy. From the horizon line I could see a small Shetland Sheepdog tumbling down the hill and she landed abruptly in my hands. I gave her a name and sat her down, and she ran to him. Then the genie told me I had one more wish left. I told him I didn’t know what else to wish for so I asked him what he wanted. I wished for people to like him for who he is, and if he lightened up a bit then he could be more social. The last wish was what he wanted most. Then he was on his way. Wherever that was. Everything after that was perfect, ignorance is bliss right. I never wanted to actually find out why things were this way, because maybe if I did, it would all disappear. Mr. Charming and I then shared a long enchanting kiss and everything slowly faded away.
